“Howdy Partner!” Before sharing more about our Texas ministry tour, let me update you about the last month. The first week in March we held a revival meeting in Sebring, FL. Throughout the week, we did our “Work for the Night” program to encourage folks to invite friends. The special nights included Pack-a-pew night, Mobile home park night and others. The highlight of the week was the salvation of Ethan, Elissa, Kaylee, and Danielle during our nightly Kids-4-Christ. Ethan came to me on Tuesday night seven minutes before the service began and said, “Mr. Wyler, I’ve been thinking about what you said last night and I want to be 100% sure right now.” So in the few minutes prior to the first hymn, Ethan trusted Christ. On March 19-20, we ministered at two churches in Davenport, FL. Next we headed to Port St. Lucie Bible Church for Jerrill’s ordination council and service. As a testament to his preparation and training, Rev. Jerrill Wyler was successfully ordained and is serving as the Assistant Pastor and also teaching with his wife Andrea at the Barnabas Christian Academy. From Port St. Lucie, Florida our trek towards Texas began. We had a wonderful weekend meeting in Alabama with Pastor Leo Mejia and Hand Ave. Baptist Church. Then we finally arrived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area praising the Lord for 1400 miles of safety. This past Sunday we were at Friendship Baptist in Boyd then Heritage Baptist in Haslet for the evening service. The Lord blessed as we heard from so many encouraged texans. The next few weeks we will be at several churches across the state then travel to Illinois and Ohio. The accident damage to our truck and RV is completely repaired. Now every safe mile consistently reminds us of God’s goodness. As you continue to pray for our ministry and perhaps travel yourself, remember one of my Mom’s favorite sayings, “Safety is of the Lord.”
