Did you know that 2011 will be 8,760 hours long? As our family recently met to reflect on blessings of the past year, we were reminded of wonderful year full of changes. Two more members were added to the Wyler family. Andrea joined the family by marrying Jerrill on June 5th in Georgia. Jerrill serves as associate pastor and they both teach in the Christian school at the Port St Lucie Bible Church in Florida. Come and join us for Jerrill’s ordination service on January 9th. The second new family member was Titus Jethniel Wyler born on July 8th. What a joy to watch our “little” six-month old grow and learn something new each day. Today, he rode on daddy’s shoulders for the first time.
Not only are we overjoyed by the changes God has made in our lives, but also in the lives of many people we have met this year. Just a few days before Christmas, we presented a program as part of an outreach ministry to prisoner’s children. Jerrill and Andrea were even able to join us. Although each of the 32 prisoner’s children were fed a wonderful meal and received a variety of gifts, four of them went home with an even greater gift. Jethniel, Judy, Jerrill, and Andrea each had an opportunity to lead a child to the greatest gift of all, Jesus.
During the coming 8,760 hours join us in fervently asking God for opportunities to “Lead souls to heaven in 2011." In the hymnwriter's words, "Only one life, 'twill soon be past; only what's done for Christ will last."
